This task has EXPIRED.
This should be something that basically allows one to take a windows computer and "beam" its current screen and audio to console devices.
Currently there seems to be no good way to watch netflix on arbitrary console devices, http://alternativeto.net/desktop/playon/
This is a task to make one, open source.
A few hints: camstudio, vlc (+- server aspect), ushare [?], mythTv...
